Claudio Mazza was born in Locri in 1957, he lived and worked for over 20 years in Piacenza. Mazza has devoted himself from an early age multifaceted artistic experiences that led him to range from music composition to visual art in general. Since the early nineties has also developed an artistic career that, while sinking the roots in the fantastic and surrealist tradition to which much must the Italian art of the twentieth century has been characterized from the beginning by the original creative approach and is finally he landed in a painting released from the legacy of historical surrealism and completely melted from the relations with the sensible reality, unchallenged domination of the most absolute freedom of expression. The exhibition of Mazza, started in 1996, he soon led to collaboration with galleries of undisputed prestige in the Italian market and the establishment of relationships with organization and foreign galleries. Paintings by Mazza are now also present in important institutions and public and private collections.
